One in every four Mexican immigrant workers in New Mexicohas been the victim of wage theft, but just 12 percent of those people filed a complaint or recovered their pay, according to a report presented Thursday.
The study was carried out for the immigrant advocacy group Somos Un Pueblo Unido by University of New Mexico professor Andrew Schrank and doctoral student Jessica Garrick.
