This Dec. 15, Hyatt’s Andaz brand will debut its first Latin American property, Andaz Papagayo, which will sit on a 2,223-acres master-planned development on the northwest Pacific coast of the Costa Rica. It will mark the second resort property in the Andaz collection of properties — the first of which is the recently opened Andaz Maui at Wailea in Hawaii.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring a world-class resort to such a desirable and unique destination in Latin America, which we know will attract international travelers seeking new and inspiring experiences” said Michael Schmid, general manager of Andaz Papagayo in a statement. “Andaz Papagayo will be a wonderful addition to the Andaz family and will showcase the rich culture and history for which Costa Rica is known.”
