David Garcia fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a judge last month, after returning to law school in his mid-30s, the Herald-News reports. It was an especially sweet moment for the Latino community, as Garcia will serve as the first Hispanic judge in Will County, which encompasses part of the Chicago metropolitan area.
